Old Harbor

Some folks like to stay at Old Harbor, closer to the excitement of Ballard's or the Hotels. Many tie up at the dock but others with smaller boats are content to anchor within the breakwater.

The ferries come and go all day and most of the night, I still enjoy watch them dock and seeing the passenger's smiles as they disembark. Few smiles when the seas are rough but that's island life.
